About Quinnipiac Terrace

Quinnipiac Terrace sits right on the Quinnipiac River, which makes this an especially pretty place to live. Lots of big porches and gabled roofs are signature features of the buildings, all cheerfully painted and gleaming inside and out, so that it is an inviting place to call home for the residents of its 193 apartments.

Almost all units have individual entryways and backyards, providing a welcome sense of privacy in a friendly neighborhood that is a far cry from the severely distressed public housing development it had been before Trinity Financial took it on beginning in 2006.

Trinity Management ensures that the one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units stay in great condition to meet the needs of individuals and families earning up to 60 percent of area median income. Some units qualify for public subsidies.

Resident comfort is emphasized, as it is at all Trinity properties. Modern, energy efficient appliances are in all units. Townhouses have hookups for washers and dryers while the main building has a laundry room.

An 8,500 square foot Community Room with kitchen is available for use by residents for larger get-togethers, for instance, the popular Zumba lessons, the annual Winter Holiday Party and the Summer Cook Out. A computer lab is onsite, with job training offered. The space is also used by the Parent Program and the Tenant Resident Council.

Pets under 20 pounds are allowed, with breed restrictions.

With jobs, museums, cinemas, restaurants, houses of worship and much more to entertain, educate and sustain one, all within easy distances, Quinnipiac Terrace is certainly a vibrant and desirable community in which to live.
