Northridge Homes offers residents of this 98-unit cooperative community the convenience of nearby cultural venues, wonderful schools, beautiful beaches, and great transportation options, including easy access to Route 128, commuter rail, and bus routes.
Built in 1975, Northridge Homes is a well-established community comprised of two-story townhouses. There are low-, moderate- and market-rate units. The members of the cooperative don’t own their actual residence, but rather a share in the community that owns all the buildings.
Beverly is just north of Salem, on the ocean. It has a number of public beaches, including the incomparable Lynch Park, where residents can swim, kayak, have a picnic, search for periwinkles, enjoy the splash pad and jungle gym, listen to concerts performed in the hatch shell, attend an artists’ show in the Carriage House, or get married in the Rose Garden.
Other attractions include the popular North Shore Music Theater, Cabot Cinema and Larcom Theatre.
The public schools are well-regarded, as are the many private schools, such as Glen Urquhart, Shore Country Day, and the Waring School. Residents can also take advantage of courses and cultural activities offered at Montserrat College of Art and Endicott College.
