Apartments in Dorchester, Massachusetts
Dorchester, Massachusetts 02125
The 37 apartments at 200 Hancock Street were recently renovated to the tune of $6,400,000, with new carpets in the hallways, new windows in the common areas, new paint, new awning, a new fob-entry system for security, a new mailbox system, new landscaping, and much more.
Built in 1968, the four-story building had fallen into such disrepair that tenants staged a protest against the former owner. ARX Urban bought it in November 2015, hiring Trinity Management to oversee residential life and property maintenance. Among the immediate changes: residents now have access to 24-hour emergency maintenance.
They have much more, including kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Bathrooms have new tile, toilets, sinks, tubs. Hardwood floors gleam. There is a new laundry in the building. The parking lot, which includes 20 spaces, and the exterior landscaping are attended to regularly.
The building is located just steps from the Savin Hill T station, offering an easy commute to downtown Boston. It is also near I-93 for trips north and south of the city.
There are 3 studio apartments, 18 one-bedroom apartments, and 16 two-bedroom apartments. Please contact the manager for more information.
